Sad Sad Sad

This may be the saddest cartoon I have ever seen. The democrats are politicizing the Corona Virus, and they believe this may actually be the magic bullet that brings down Trump. Can you imagine being happy about people getting sick, and in some cases, dying... just because you disagree with the President? That's exactly what is happening. The mainstream media is telling us the sky is falling, and the majority of the American public believes it. For heavens sake! CALM DOWN America! The run-of the-mill flu is worse than this. The whole world has gone crazy, and there is absolutely no reason for it.

Rod Holders

As fishing season approaches, I decided that I needed some stick-in-the-ground rod holders. I have always used a good old-fashioned forked stick, and it did the job just fine. However, I decided that I needed to upgrade. There are rod holders available for purchase, but they're expensive. I decided to compromise and make my own.

I found a design online that was simple enough for me to do, and would be sturdy enough to stand up to the type of fishing I do. It's basically a one foot section of PVC pipe, a PVC cap, and a piece of threaded steel rod.

I will post better photos later, but here is my first attempt. Not too shabby!

Wasteland

California is a liberal wasteland. What a shame! It's such a beautiful state.

Early to bed...

Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise. This is a fun adage, but for me I only fulfill one out of three. I am healthy, but I am neither wealthy nor wise.

As I age, I am getting up earlier and earlier, as well as falling asleep earlier and earlier.

The graphic below is so true... especially today. I literally woke up at 4:30 this morning. I don't know if I will be asleep in my chair by 6, but I know it won't be long after.

Super Tuesday

Yesterday was Super Tuesday for the democrats (or Super Thursday according to Joe Biden). It's now a two man race for the democratic nomination for President. Creepy, gaffe machine, Joe Biden, and bat crap crazy, self proclaimed socialist, Bernie Sanders. Hahahaha! Is this this best the democrats have to offer? This presidential campaign and election is going to be fun to watch. Get your popcorn ready!
