I've changed

I have definitely changed and I'd like to think it's for the better. Here is a photo of me with my friend and teaching colleague, Wendy. We were celebrating the retirement of another colleague in full Hawaiian regalia.

To give full disclosure here... This was during my fat days (and believe me, there were lots and lots of those days). I mainly grew the beard to cover up my double (maybe triple?) chin. I was not a handsome fella in those days. Compare the photo with today's version of a clean-shaven and markedly slimmer yours truly. Can't we all agree I am getting better with age?

Upon seeing this photo, Abby said the following: "Oh, Daddy! You look TERRIBLE!". I'm inclined to agree with her :-)
