The moles in my yard are back with a vengeance. I set my trap this morning and nabbed one less than 30 minutes later. Moles FEAR me!

Punctuation and Grammar

It drives me crazy! Punctuation and grammar, people! This sign is funny, but I can't laugh because I can't get past the errors. A period after the word eating and the word them should be replaced with the word it, him, or her. Dog is a singular noun, them is a plural pronoun. They don't match!

Many people will look at this and laugh. I can't. This is a glimpse into what a sad state our education system is in. Kidss are graduating from high school without basic reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and math skills. In my little classroom I do my best to teach my students everything they need to know in 4th grade. But the problem is a whole lot bigger than me. I will never give up, and I will keep teaching as best as I can.

No more ants!

Less than 24 hours later... No more ants! In fact, we haven't seen any since last night. This stuff is great!

Just for fun

Ants!

The ants have arrived! We get an invasion every year about this time. No worries though... a mixture of sugar, borax, maple syrup, and water make a great bait and poison. Trust me, everybody. This stuff works great! They eat it, but it doesn't kill them right away. They carry the poison back to the nest and it kills the entire colony. No need for an exterminator.
