Yup! I guess General Sherman needed a little extra oomph on his steak to make that march into Atlanta. Or perhaps Generals Grant and Lee got tired of the same old steak and needed something different. Yesiree, A.1. Steak Sauce was invented during the Civil War. Who knew?
