Counting the minutes

In a matter of about three hours, I will leave work and not return until August. Summer is almost here... finally! I will have a lot of time off, but I also have a ton of work to do. I have to take a graduate level course and there are a thousand and one little jobs around the house that have been neglected for far too long. I will not be sitting around twiddling my thumbs. I will be quite the busy little bee and there will be no time to get bored. But in the end, I am looking forward to a nice break after my first successful year of teaching 4th grade (and 26th year overall). Nine more years until retirement, but who's counting?
