Flyover

Ever heard of flyover states? These are the states in the middle of the country that planes fly over when traveling from one coast to the other. In case you didn't know, coastal areas are usually liberal and states in the middle of the nation are more conservative. Of course this does not count large urban areas. These are predominantly liberal also. Well, liberal biased news stations such as CNN usually discount flyover states. People who live in the heartland are generally viewed as dumb rednecks who cling to their God, guns and religion. They are generally viewed as closed-minded (i.e. not progressive thinkers) rubes who don't know their hind end from a hole in the ground. Want proof that CNN is totally out of touch with the midwest? Check out the screenshot below from CNN. Notice anything strange? You guessed it. They reversed Kentucky and Indiana. What an insult! I mean, I know you think we don't matter, CNN, but geez, this is ridiculous!
