Thomas and Abby recently bought their first home and moved in over Thanksgiving weekend. Any homeowner will tell you owning a house is great… until it isn’t. I mention this because after only two weeks or so, Thomas and Abby have their first issue with the new house. Just in time for Christmas, their water heater went out. It figures, huh? Right in the midst of winter, wham! No hot water! Poor kids. I really do feel sorry for them. What a welcome!
Thankfully water heaters are not terribly expensive. Yes, it comes at the worst possible time… Christmas. And yes, it’s money they weren’t planning on spending. But hey, there are much worse (and more expensive) things that could go wrong. Also… water heater replacement is a fairly simple DIY project. No labor costs this time!
