Global Warming--- say those words to 100 different people and you are likely to find 50 who believe it is scientific fact and 50 who believe it is complete bunk. Count me among those who think global warming is complete hogwash. Any warming trends the earth may be experiencing are due to normal climate fluctuations and not due to human activity or methane gas that comes from cows passing gas. Yes, folks, it's true. There are environmentalists who say global warming is due in part to cow flatulence. Try saying that with a straight face. The earth is doomed because of cows tooting up a storm. I almost have to laugh at the greenies. They hold protests telling everyone to take care of the earth, yet leave mountains of trash behind when they leave.
Look. Make no mistake. Just because I don't believe in global warming, uh, I mean, climate change... doesn't mean I don't care about the environment. I hate looking at litter along the highway, and I despise watching trash float by when I am near the river. I never throw trash anywhere except a garbage can. I will never understand why people feel they can pitch trash out their car windows. How lazy do you have to be to not wait until you get home to throw away your trash? I don't like polluted air any more than the next guy. I think industry needs to be monitored to make sure they are not dumping unlimited pollutants into our air and waterways.
The first photos below are the mess left behind by Dakota Pipeline protesters telling the rest of us to take care of the earth. Oh the irony! The last photo speaks for itself.

The (almost) empty nest
The empty nest for Tami and me is imminent. It's not close enough that I would make a lengthy post about it. But our remaining two children at home are adults and they will be moving out sooner rather than later. My guess is our nest will be empty in the next 12-18 months. The way time is flying, that will be here in the blink of an eye. Obviously I have mixed feelings about the empty nest. Sad to see my kids go because I love having them around. But happy because it's an exciting time for the kids to get out on their own. Where has the time gone? They were just toddlers last week!

And my girl!
I did not forget about my girl, Sveta. The photo below shows one pretty little girl, and one fat faced Goppa.
By the way, the reason I am posting these photos is my new foray into Instagram. I generally don't like social media, but I was missing out on too many photos of my grandchildren without it. So, I grudgingly joined Instagram. I'm such the trendy dude now!

My two boys
The Morton kids took a trip to the zoo yesterday. I have heard a good time was had by all. Here's a photo of a tuckered out Asher. You can tell it was a hot day. He was totally wiped out at the end of the day. The other photo is Elliott receiving his "wings" from an elderly pilot. I am amazed at how honored Elliott looks. If you didn't know better, you'd think some prestigious award was being bestowed upon him.
Both photos... Sweet!

Uh oh!
Kim Jong Un is a gutless little so and so. He rattles his saber and tries to look tough when he is anything but tough. He reminds me of a tiny dog barking up a storm at a huge dog that could eat it for breakfast. He lives in luxury while the citizens of his nation starve. He keeps the nation in total darkness (have you ever seen a satellite image of the Korean Peninsula at night?) This little creep has no redeeming value whatsoever. He can only rattle Uncle Sam's cage for so long before he becomes sorry he did. This little tyrant is big and bad with his cronies around him. Let's see how he does when the good ol' US of A decides they've had enough of his shenanigans.

Teacher Fun
These are ALL true. Every. Single. One.
You may not find them funny, but I do. There is more humor in truth than in fiction.
