Good Holiday!

My favorite holiday has come and gone. It was a really good day with my family. The most amusing part of the day was Sveta and Elliott's less-than-enthusiastic attitude toward the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. As you can see in this photo, they are paying absolutely no attention to the television (granted there is a commercial on, but apparently they weren't paying attention to the parade either). They are both completely captivated by an electronic device of some kind. My how times have changed. Watching the parade used to be one of the highlights of the day. Now the parade can't compete with iPads, iPods, iPhones and ieverything else.

I have also included one of the highlights of Elliott's day. He loves firetrucks, police cars and heavy machinery of all kinds. His daddy took him to see a bulldozer Thanksgiving morning while the girls got all prettied up at home.
