In like a lion

We all know the saying on March 1st... In like a lion, out like a lamb. Well, that saying has never been more evident than this year. We had severe storms through the night, and are also having some big ones this morning. These storms are what my dad used to call real "butt kickers". Lots of lightning, loud thunder, high winds, torrential rain, and hail. It has been quite the morning (since just past midnight that is). These storms were the kind that wake you up, and keep you up at night. In like a lion indeed!
