We've been robbed!

Michael starts nursing school in about two and a half weeks. He is currently getting all his ducks in a row, and one of the things he is doing is preparing to buy his textbooks. College textbooks have always been ridiculously expensive and I firmly believe it is a racket. Here is why I say this. One of Michael's textbooks for the upcoming semester is $287. Let that sink in for a moment, folks. One book... $287. That's two Benjamins, four Jacksons, one Lincoln, and two Washington's. $287 for a stack of paper, some ink, and a little bit of glue to hold it all together. This is beyond ridiculous. It's highway robbery! I feel so sorry for college kids trying to get started in life. This means Michael needs to work 39 hours at his landscaping job just to pay for one lousy book. That's just sad.

  1. Try slugbooks.com The students at IU say they have the best prices. Not verified. We rented through Amazon for Brad and saved a few dollars as well. <<< dougga
