What an incredible day! First, it was the warmest winter day in recorded history in Cincinnati. In what could only be described as Florida-like, the temperature reached a balmy 78 degrees. We are absolutely loving it!
Second, my dear, sweet Sveta spent the day with me at school. As you know, she is homeschooled and has been curious about what it might be like to attend public school. What better way to get a taste of public school life than spending a day with her Goppa at work. Don't worry, folks, there is no chance she will be leaving the homeschool world any time soon. This was just a field trip of sorts. She did an amazing job (as if there was any doubt about that!)
Here she is ready for the day (complete with her own personalized desk).
I can neither confirm nor deny Sveta receiving a "before school" cookie.
Here she is hard at work.
When asked what part of the day she was most looking forward to, in typical kid fashion, she said, "Lunch and recess".
As you can see, we had quite the day. One of favorites in my entire career!
