A few days ago I restated a desire to keep a written record of the year's events. I've always wanted to do this in order to give a "Year in Review" report for the Meyer family. What I failed to realize is I've already got a good start (and didn't even know it). This blog is an electronic record of the really big events in my life. Now all I have to do is stay diligent to this blog and fill in the details with a pen and paper record. This is going to work out better than I ever expected. Not that most people care about most of the mundane stuff I will record. Shucks, I avoid FaceBook for this very reason.
