It's Christmas Eve. One of the holiest nights on the Christian calendar. A night we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Tonight we will attend a candlelight service at our church where we'll be reminded of the familiar Christmas story. God sent His only son to earth. Born in a lowly manger. The humblest of places, fit only for animals. Jesus was fully man, yet fully God. The only sinless man to ever walk the earth.
O come, O come Emmanuel. And ransom captive Israel.
Emmanuel- Translated means, "God with us". Yes, God came to earth to live among His people. Today we sing Alleluia!
