Goodbye July

It's with a figurative tear in my eye that I say goodbye to July. Tomorrow begins August and with August come thoughts of (ugh!) school. The summer has gone so fast. With all the rainy weather early in the summer, I feel a little bit cheated. But alas all good things must come to an end and so too does my summer vacation. All too soon I will be back in the trenches dealing with the daily stress of trying to teach youngsters who have no interest in being educated. It's time to start year 26 of teaching. Look out 4th graders... here I come!
