Pawn Stars

Yesterday was another fun filled day. The highlight was a trip to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop. This is the one where the TV show Pawn Stars is filmed. It is a relatively short walk from our hotel (about a mile and a half, maybe a little farther). It's not too long of a distance, but the temperature was 105 and this made the trek a little more difficult. After a few stops to rest in the shade, we made it to the shop and were able to walk right in. Our timing must have been perfect because when we left a line had formed outside. While at the shop we had a good time looking around at all the cool items for sale. None of the guys from the TV show were there (we didn't expect them to be), but we did see one man that has been on camera during the show. It was kind of cool to be where a popular show takes place.

Today is our last day and we are trying to figure out how to have our last hurrah in Vegas before flying home tomorrow. As always, it's fun to get away, but also it will be good to get home.
