Costco

Sam's Club? Costco? You've been there. Warehouse stores that require you to purchase a membership for the privilege of shopping in their store and then tell us we save enough money to pay for the membership many times over. They say we save money by buying in bulk. Theoretically it's a good concept and it works... as long as you only buy what you you truly need. I mean honestly... who really needs a five gallon bucket of ketchup or a 50 pound bag of rice? Don't get me wrong. We are Costco members and we love it. Sometimes we make a trip just because we like to look around. But this is always risky. We never "just look around". We almost always buy something and it's usually something we don't really need. In fact, we end up buying a lot of stuff we don't need. But I digress... Costco is a good place for buying lots of things. They have awesome deals on rotisserie chickens, meats, toilet tissue, paper towels, coffee, gasoline and lots of other things. Believe me, we wouldn't trek all the way to Springdale if it wasn't somehow worth our while. We also buy more than just food and other staples. We purchased our flat screen TV, credenza, ottoman, printer and glasses at Costco. We also do a lot of Christmas shopping there. It truly is a great place, but you can drop a bundle when you really don't intend to.
