Almost a cop

Michael recently applied for a position as a police officer (Dearborn County Deputy to be more precise). He took the written exam, performed a physical agility and endurance test and went through an interview. He did not get the job, but did hear that everyone was quite impressed with him. The reason he was rejected had nothing to do with his performance. It was his age. Michael is twenty and a half... you need to be twenty one to carry a firearm. Even though he didn't get the job, he was encouraged by the report he got from the police department. At least now he has his foot in the door and they know who he is. Watch out, everybody... Barney Fife will be on the job soon enough!
