Well... the problem of the pool leak has been solved. When I initially made the connection, unbeknownst to me the threads were cross threaded and the seal was not watertight. I'm such an idiot! Although I AM thankful the problem had a simple resolution.

Furthermore, the pool cover has been removed and the ladder has been installed. As I type this, water is flowing into the pool and it should be at its optimal level in the morning.
Tomorrow I will add the chemicals and vacuum. The pool should be operational by Sunday. Let the fun begin!
