Michael asked today if he could forego (translation- Play Hooky) his last day of school in order to leave for Florida a day early. I had no hesitation in saying yes. It's his senior year. It's his last high school spring break. He's doing very well with his grades. And in his words, "We're not doing anything on the last day anyway". Therefore he will be heading south at about 3:00 A.M. He'll be in Tampa by Friday evening. Please pray for the safety of both kids on their vacation.
As I said in my last post, it's going to be very strange without the kids around the house. It's already eerily quiet and Michael isn't even gone yet.
