You will not hear me wishing anyone a "Happy" Halloween today. You won't see me celebrating Halloween either. I am befuddled as to how we could celebrate something that is based on death and gruesome guts and gore. Halloween is morose, morbid, bloody and I can't find one redeeming thing about it. The only exception to this might be really, really young children dressed up in adorable costumes. These young kids have no interest in a horror filled night... they just want to satisfy their natural inclination toward sugary treats. I have no issues with that. I'm not a coldhearted monster after all. Just somebody who sees nothing good about frightening children and sending them to bed for a date with a nightmare.
