Left Behind

We went to see the movie, "Left Behind" tonight. It was based on the first book of the end times reading series of the same name. The movie was only so-so and only loosely based on the book. I was somewhat disappointed because the book series was so well written. All 12 books in the series were page turners and the movie didn't hold the same level of interest. The movie was entertaining enough, but they could have done so much more with presenting the Gospel. Once again Hollywood shied away from the message of Jesus Christ dying for the sins of mankind. Nice try, but it fell short of the real message delivered in the book of Revelation.
