You all may remember a few weeks back Tami planned a very special dinner with a very special guest. Major Tom Griffin of Dolittle's Raiders fame came and spoke to the men of my family. You may also remember that work duties prevented me from being able to participate in this wonderful event. Fast forward to this week... my men's Bible study group arranged to have Major Griffin come and speak to us. The event was scheduled for tonight, but unfortunately Mr. Griffin had to cancel (he had a setback). He's 95 years old... it's completely understandable. I was really looking forward to seeing Major Griffin, but was disappointed again. Strike two!
