The White Death Approaches

Brace yourselves! It's coming! Batten down the hatches! Stockpile food, water, batteries and medical supplies! Gas up the cars! Get ready because... it's going to snow a little. That's right, folks. It's time to prepare for the first round of this winter's White Death. Snowmageddon! The Snowpocalypse! Run for your life! There may be some freezing rain and sleet coming too. Oh my Goodness, what are we going to do? How about taking a chill pill and simmering down just a tad? It's a snow storm, not a nuclear war. We won't be trapped in our homes. The grocery stores will not resemble Mother Hubbard's cupboard. The gas stations will not run out of gasoline. The roads will be passable in a matter of hours, not days. It's going to snow, people. You may have to shovel your driveway and your commute to or from work may be disrupted. You may even have to stay at home instead of running out to Burger King for a Whopper with cheese. Trust me. We'll survive. Now if you'll excuse me I have to run to Kroger to gas up my car, buy some staples, band-aids, batteries and bottled water.
