Down then up

My niece's fiancee is in the Marines and is on leave this week. We had a cookout/pool party at our house today in his honor. The day's weather forecast was not favorable and I had my doubts about the pool party portion of the day. True to the predictions, the rain chased us out of the pool for a short time. Later in the afternoon the skies cleared and the pool party went on as planned. It was a great day of family fun, burgers, dogs, splishing and splashing. This is what summer's all about!
