Radio Shack Part 2

In yesterday's post I failed to mention that my in-laws owned a Radio Shack store in Lawrenceburg back in the 70's. They operated a reputable business for many years and even had the distinction of selling one of the first computers in Dearborn County history. Radio Shack sold the TRS 80 (affectionately nicknamed the Trash 80). Long before computers had hard drives or floppy discs, they stored their information on cassette tapes using a tape recorder. The TRS 80 was just such a computer. At the time it seemed like a marvel of technology, but now it's the most ancient of dinosaurs where computers are concerned. Remember when computers looked like this?
