I talked yesterday about the skeptics and naysayers regarding Michael's mission trip, Beach Reach. I've seen a lot of raised eyebrows and head nods of uncertainty. I mentioned the negative and sarcastic comments as well.
Today Michael told us he saw someone baptized in the ocean. Other than providing safe transportation and free pancakes to drunken spring breakers, this one baptism made the whole mission a success. One teenager dedicating his/her life to Christ made listening to all the naysayers totally worthwhile.
