Another one down

As the calendar turns from January to February, my outlook on life improves just a little. Another month of winter is behind me and February is a short month. Once we get into March, spring is close enough to see on the horizon. Make no mistake though. February is cold and there's plenty of winter miserableness to endure before Jack Frost takes his annual spring hike out of town. As I type this there is a crunchy inch of snow on the ground. Temperatures are in the single digits with wind chills below zero. The traffic in the region is still recovering from last night's quick arctic blast.
