Let's light 'em up!

Sveta's birthday party was a big success yesterday. She got lots of presents, got to eat her favorite meal (hamburgers), and of course got to blow out the candles on her birthday cake. Sveta enjoyed putting the five candles on the cake and before her daddy could get to the cake with the lighter, she exclaimed, "Let's light 'em up!". Funny! She's been here a little more than a year and she's already hip to American birthday customs and traditions.

I'm 5!




We're just going to call this photo "How many Grandpas does it take?". As you can see this little toy plane had all the grown ups baffled. We were trying to open the battery compartment to install the batteries. We wanted to watch Sveta play with it. Finally Abby grabbed the plane and opened the compartment with no effort at all. What a show off!
