In another, "I remember where I was when..." moment, I remember where I was when Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated on re-entry 10 years ago today. It was a Saturday morning and I was at my school joining a team of colleagues who had assembled to pass out literature for an upcoming tax levy. It was here I heard the news that was eerily similar to the news I heard 17 years earlier when Challenger exploded in 1986. Space Shuttle Columbia broke apart over Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas. Again all 7 astronauts perished. Such a sad story and heart-breakingly familiar. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years.
