Five days ago the temperature was 10 below zero with wind chills ranging from minus 20 to minus 40. Today the calendar turns to February and the mercury is supposed to top out near 50°. Not to be deterred, Old Man Winter is predicted to come back with a vengeance early next week. More freezing temperatures and snow are in the forecast for the near future. I can hardly wait.
